Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta '11 and she won by the first round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill as she was able to end her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd took the win at the start of round one, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's ever had in any significant way. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. In a match that was a replacement in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous verdict.
